THE TEAM
Hotel Nowhere is an improv/sketch comedy team that started as a House Team at the Steel City Improv Theater (SCIT) in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
You can currently see Hotel Nowhere performing improv every Monday as part of TFM (Totally Free Mondays) @ 8pm at the SCIT.
(And stay tuned for more video sketches and content.)
But we didn't do it alone...
A huge thanks goes out to the everyone who helped us, including:
- James Rushin , our creative virtuoso, who composed and recorded the entire original score in approximately an hour
- Koa (the dog), for not sleeping the entire day and putting up with our nonsense
48-HOUR TIMELINE
July 12, 2013 @ 6pm Eastern.
Two representatives from Hotel Nowhere make their way to Chatham University's Eddy Theater to acquire vital 48 Hour Film Project information.
July 12, 2013 @ around 7:30 pm.
Each team is randomly assigned a genre, and all teams are given the same three required elements:
- A prop (A photo of Mom and/or Dad)
- A line of dialogue ("How did you figure it out?")
- A character (Trey or Trish Campell, Spokesperson)
Our genre? "Horror"
July 12, 2013 @ 8pm - July 14, 2013 @ 7:30pm
A grueling process to conceive, write, storyboard, prep, build sets, build props, film, edit, re-shoot, re-edit, score, and submit a 4-7 minute short film in less than 48 hours.
July 14, 2013 @ 2 minutes before the deadline
The exported film is submitted for judging.
